EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: December corn is up 2 3/4 cents per
bushel, November soybeans are up 3/4 cent, December KC wheat is up 21 1/2
cents, December Chicago wheat is up 18 1/2 cents, and MIAX December Minneapolis
wheat is up 0.1725 cents.
CME GLOBEX RECAP: On Friday, December corn dropped 4 cents, November
soybeans dropped 6 1/2 cents, and December KC wheat dropped 13 1/4 cents. Corn
and soybean basis was weaker, while spring wheat and hard red winter wheat
basis was steady Friday, and soft red winter wheat basis was stronger. Overall,
Friday's trade was stifled due to the long holiday weekend. Wheat prices fell
double-digits after the trade digested optimism of a ceasefire in the Black
Sea. Corn and soybeans followed the lower trade momentum. U.S. weekend strikes
in the Strait of Hormuz, followed by Iran strikes on civilians in Saudi Arabia,
have the crude oil market rising near $100 a barrel. Meanwhile, diesel prices
remain at record highs. Money managers piled into agricultural commodities in
the week ended Sept. 1. Their combined net long across corn, soybean complex,
and wheat futures and options jumped by 260,284 contracts to 1.01 million
contracts -- the highest in 20 years. This week, USDA will release its monthly
World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates (WASDE) report. Traders will
watch whether USDA tightens its yield and ending stock estimates. USDA's usual
Monday releases were delayed by the Labor Day holiday. Tuesday, USDA's Export
Inspection report will be released at 10 a.m. CDT, followed by the weekly Crop
Progress report at 3 p.m. CDT.

Industrial Average down 271.86 at 53,414.25 and the S&P 500 down 29.11 at
7,718.60. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.784%. Early Tuesday, the
September Dow Jones Futures are down 381 points. European markets are lower,
